High Performance Cartridge Column filled with high precise spherical silica gel

Small particle sized spherical silica gels having specific surface area and pore size suitable for preparation/purification are selected and filled.
The best column can be selected from variety of columns with many kinds of gel such as SI, NH, ODS etc., different particle size and column size.

Features

  • 2 sizes of spherical silica gel are available to achieve higher performance. The particle size of 50μm provides high performance and the size of 25μm is top grade.
  • Tailing is suppressed and critical separation is obtained. A sharper chromate peak can be obtained and that will improve sample recovery rate and reduce the amount of solvent used. (※)
  • Sample charge can be done easily because spherical silica gel has high permeability.
  • Much amount of sample can be charged and that will contribute to the efficiency of the preparative experiment.
  • Also, spherical silica gel has lower pressure loss than irregular type silica gel and useful for separation of high viscous samples.
  • We stick to “Made in Japan”, so that they achieve high quality & reproducibility.
  • The best size column can be selected from many size of columns to fit the amount of sample.
  • The diameter and length of the column can be selected depending on sample state.
  • The column packed in high grade polypropylene housing has high pressure resistance(1MPa) and high transparency to confirm the state of sample visually.
The recovery ratio of sample and consumption of solvent depend on the sample characteristic and solvents.

The first two letters mean the kind of silica gel. SI is unmodified silica gel, NH is silica gel modified with amine and ODS is silica gel modified C18.The next number means particle size and the unit is μm.The number of SIZE means column size. “20” means 10g of gel.Please refer to the specification for the details of column size.

The Silanol function groups on the surface of silica gel are modified by Amino propyl function group.

It is possible to separate basic substances and improve the peak tailing & the recovery ratio of sample by the modification with Amino propyl function group.

Feature
Silanol function groups of the surface of silica gel are modified(end-capped) and that will prevent the adsorption of basic substances to silica gel compared with non-modified silica gel.
